Welcome to Strandr, operated by Strandr LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our mobile application, website, platform, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. SERVICES PROVIDED
Strandr provides a technology platform that connects users seeking roadside assistance, towing, vehicle recovery, jump starts, tire changes, fuel delivery, lockout assistance, and related services (“Users”) with independent towing operators, roadside assistance providers, and service professionals (“Service Providers”).
We do not directly perform towing or roadside assistance services unless expressly stated otherwise.
2. ELIGIBILITY
You must:
- Be at least 18 years old;
- Have the legal authority to enter into these Terms;
- Provide accurate account information;
- Use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.
3. NO GUARANTEE OF SERVICE
We do not guarantee:
- Availability of Service Providers;
- Response times;
- Service quality;
- Vehicle recovery success;
- Continuous Platform availability.
Roadside conditions, weather, traffic, provider availability, and emergencies may affect services.
4. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR DISCLAIMER
Service Providers are independent contractors and are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Strandr LLC.
We are not responsible for:
- Actions or omissions of Service Providers;
- Vehicle damage;
- Delays;
- Personal injury;
- Theft;
- Misconduct;
- Traffic violations;
- Improper towing or roadside procedures.
Any agreement for roadside assistance or towing is solely between the User and the Service Provider.
5. EMERGENCY LIMITATION
THE PLATFORM IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES.
If you are in immediate danger or experiencing an emergency, call 911 or local emergency services.
6. USER RESPONSIBILITIES
You agree to:
- Provide accurate vehicle and location information;
- Remain in a safe location while awaiting service;
- Ensure your vehicle is legally accessible;
- Comply with all laws and instructions;
- Not misuse the Platform.
You are solely responsible for valuables left in your vehicle.
7. PAYMENTS
Users agree to pay all applicable:
- Service fees;
- Towing charges;
- Mileage charges;
- Storage fees;
- Cancellation fees;
- Taxes and surcharges.
Prices may vary based on:
- Distance;
- Vehicle type;
- Time of day;
- Severity of service;
- Location;
- Weather or traffic conditions.
All payments are final unless otherwise required by law.
8. CANCELLATIONS AND NO-SHOWS
You may be charged a cancellation or no-show fee if:
- You cancel after a provider has been dispatched;
- You are unavailable;
- Your vehicle cannot be accessed;
- Information provided is inaccurate.
9. LOCATION SERVICES
The Platform may use GPS and location tracking to facilitate services.
By using the Platform, you consent to:
- Collection of precise location data;
- Sharing location data with Service Providers;
- Use of location information to improve services.
You may disable location permissions, but some features may not function properly.
10. VEHICLE DAMAGE DISCLAIMER
Towing and roadside services inherently involve risks.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Strandr LLC is not liable for:
- Vehicle damage;
- Mechanical failure;
- Tire damage;
- Alignment issues;
- Scratches or cosmetic damage;
- Cargo loss;
- Delays;
- Loss of use.
Users must inspect vehicles immediately after service and report issues promptly.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, [COMPANY NAME] SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- INDIRECT DAMAGES;
- INCIDENTAL DAMAGES;
- CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES;

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY THE USER FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
12. RELEASE

13. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Strandr LLC from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:
- Your use of the Platform;
- Your violation of these Terms;
- Your negligence or misconduct;
- Your violation of any law or third-party rights.
14. PROHIBITED USES
You may not:
- Use the Platform fraudulently;
- Provide false service requests;
- Harass Service Providers;
- Reverse engineer the Platform;
- Upload malicious code;
- Use the Platform for illegal activities.
15. ACCOUNT TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for:
- Violations of these Terms;
- Fraudulent activity;
- Abuse;
- Safety concerns;
- Legal compliance reasons.
16. COMMUNICATIONS CONSENT
By using the Platform, you consent to receive:
- SMS messages;
- Calls;
- Push notifications;
- Emails.
These communications may include:
- Service updates;
- Dispatch notifications;
- Billing notices;
- Marketing communications (where permitted by law).
Standard carrier rates may apply.
17. PRIVACY
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
18. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
